many things with globalization affect any kind of product or business. competition, loss of interest, lack of money, decrease in use or need. Loss of jobs. Anything that has any comparison to the product.

When you market a product globally, you need to alter your product and price to every economy and place. You also need to make sure your product, name, logo, or anything else are not offensive to anyone worldwide.

In order to market globally you will need to take into consideration International laws, provisions, language, customs/culture of the people, currency rate exchanges, work ethics, political environment, environmental concerns, and the demographic makeup.

jeremy erickson/ global marketing can be defined as individuals and organization using a global vision to effectively market goods and services across national boundaries.Uniform production through out the world should enable companies to lower production and marketing cost and increase profits. however different cultures, and language barriers will always determine what is accepted in global trade.

The affects of globalization on marketing:

Globalization does provide access to a broader target market or stitching niches that have the potential for increasing sales and ultimately the profit margin for a firms’ product. Marketing on a global level may also assist in facilitating standardization for the production and sale of a uniform product worldwide.

However, the process of globalization requires a complicated marketing strategy and objective to satisfy the diverse global marketing mix. The social and cultural, demographic, economic, technical and resource, political and legal factors, in addition to foreign competition have to be considered in the marketing analysis.

The corporation must be sure that the move to a global market for their product will be cost effect and not detrimental their existing domestic market.

To market something globally, you need to do a little research to make sure your company name isn't offensive in their language, and make sure the product or service you're selling is something they really do want and can afford.

The market is effected by the competetion and the size of the market, supply and demand. it drives the end price down.

When marketing globally, you need to do studies and find who would want it, where they go shopping and how much there willing to spend. Don't forget to account competition among other threats with marketing outside your area of knowledge. Research your new targets and if needed adjust your product to what is needed.

You need to take into consideration, ethnic demographics, culture, local competition, trade agreements, and how it impacts jobs.

How does Globalization affect marketing?

Global competition and cheap imports keep down the prices, so its less likely to arrest economic growth. Export jobs pay more money than other jobs. The growth is more rapid when countries produce goods and services which they have comparative advantage. Living arrangements can go up fast.

jeremy erickson] global marketing affects several levels of trade. you have a product that must meet standards for a mass market of different languages, cultures, demands, and social barriers, that will determine the success or failure if the company doesn't research the people in which he does trade with.

By going global you have to take into consideration other cultures and languages, more competition, different work force, wages, politics, and the different wants and needs of people around the world as well as ethical concerns.
